In the summer of 2008, the mountaineer Daniele Nardi led an expedition to the Himalayas to conquer Nanga Parbat, the ninth highest mountain on Earth, the same mountain where he would die in the winter of 2019. An anthropological journey to the most remote regions of Pakistan, an exceptional undertaking to reconquer oneself through a grandiose and merciless nature, until arriving above the clouds, on the summit of the mountain that more than any other has marked history of mountaineering, here with the lively and enthusiastic gaze of one of its latest victims.
