Energy2Karma is a Mumbai-based content distribution business founded by Nikunj Irani in 2020.
We work at the intersection of international storytelling and local acquisition needs, with a particular focus on connecting European content with India and South Asian audiences.
Our role is to bring producers, rights holders and buyers into a focused conversation: the right titles, a clear acquisition brief, and carefully defined licensing terms.
Nikunj leads the business and is the direct point of contact for catalogue, acquisition and partnership discussions.

Nikunj Irani

Nikunj founded Energy2Karma in Mumbai in 2020 to connect international cinema with Indian markets. His work spans film distribution, production and strategic content marketing.

A third-generation member of a film and theatre family, Nikunj follows his grandfather Faredoon Irani, a Gujarati play producer, and his father Ratan Irani, a Hindi film producer.
He began as an assistant director on Chalk and Duster before moving into executive production for advertising and film projects. At Energy2Karma he focuses on European films, television series and documentaries for Indian OTT platforms, television networks and theatrical discussions.
His wider interests include digital consulting, media buying and AI research, including dataset licensing and voice-agent services.
