How can OTT platforms license films for India?
Start with the catalogue and shortlist relevant titles. Share your platform, company details, requested rights, Indian or other territories, preferred term and language requirements. Energy2Karma checks title suitability and rights availability before discussing a licence.
What is the difference between SVOD, AVOD, TVOD and FAST rights?
SVOD supports subscription viewing, AVOD supports advertising-funded on-demand viewing, and TVOD commonly supports individual rentals or purchases. FAST relates to scheduled, advertising-supported streaming channels. Each permitted use must be defined in the title’s agreement; one model should not be assumed to include the others.
Can we request theatrical, television, satellite or inflight rights?
Yes, you can submit an enquiry for these uses, as well as waterborne, institutional or other specific rights. Availability depends on the title, territory, existing licences and the rights holder’s mandate. A catalogue listing is not confirmation that every right is available.
How do buyers request private film screeners?
Open a title or add films to your shortlist, then select Request screeners. Provide your name, business email, company, role, country and acquisition requirements. Requests are reviewed before private links are released by email.
