In the spaces of the former psychiatric hospital Santa Maria della Pietà in Rome, among the pavilions and within the park, some of the protagonists of the "Progetto Giuseppina" (a rehabilitation plan funded by the Municipality of Rome, which since 1995 has facilitated the process of deinstitutionalization by managing the transition of the last institutionalized patients to the outside world) recount that "revolution within the revolution" through their memories of the remaining patients. These individuals, considered a particularly chronic "asylum residue", included Giuseppina and Anna, about whom the internal staff stated they had "tried everything." The film is not so much a journey into what once was, but rather into what has never ceased to be: the stigma of diversity in the face of institutional violence. At the same time, it is a testament to how it is possible to work effectively even in times of crisis, making it a guide for the present.
