Teodoro is a poet and cultural mediator, Martin is a musician and computer scientist, Justin is a trade unionist, and Steve is a cultural mediator. These are the protagonists of "Il Colore delle parole". All of them have lived and worked in Italy for thirty years; they are African and are still not Italian citizens. Italy, suspended between past and present, deals with integration, racism, multiculturalism, and the sense of self-representation among the second generations—called G2—who are unsure of which root they belong to or prefer not to define it.
