Global Harmony

Richard Foster, two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, was raised in a very wealthy, iconic, famous American family, but his moral compass motivated him not to follow the corporate family business. Richard is the founder of the New York city based "Global Harmony Foundation" where he has always been at the forefront of his vision to create a more harmonious world based on equality, safeguarding basic human rights with global cooperation. His life soon changes. While in Italy, after being a guest on a popular Italian television talkshow, Richard drives back to his hotel and witnesses a car accident that leads to the death of a pregnant woman. Richard is suddenly confronted with having to help give birth to a baby girl. Richard ends up adopting the baby girl, who will forever alter the course of his life and reshape his vision for Global Harmony. Richard will move to the Italian island of Lampedusa where he will create educational workshops for children and adults with little possibilities of supporting and adequate schooling and job placement. Richard starts from this microcosm to extend it globally, especially in the most repressed areas of the world: in this way it would be possible to free children from a state of slavery, the child of sub-culture and economic difficulties, finding moral and concrete support, in these centers exported on a planetary level. Foster, aided by his Global Harmony team, is busy preparing an extremely important and sensitive world conference on the island that will bring together the best planetary energies in terms of childhood, education, health, economy… But the personal price Richard Foster pays for his idealist vision of Global Harmony will completely catch the film's audiences off guard... A social drama filled with thrilling, suspenseful and intriguing twists, set mostly in the island of Lampedusa, Italy, where children, love, friendship, betrayals, the atavistic struggle between good and evil, will be the main characters of a movie that winks at the thriller….
