An eighteen-year-old leaves her hometown and travels through an unrecognizable Rome. She sets out to reach a place, an enchanted garden that is both an intimate return to childhood and a different dimension that seems to come to life only in her imagination. But the mystery lurking in Astrid's neighborhood lies in the hands of a Japanese woman who comes into contact with Astrid under the guidance of a mysterious man. They both come from far away.
