Documentary / Social Issue
What is it like to live in a city in southern Italy, a few meters from a coal-fired power plant and one of the largest petrochemical plants in Europe? What is left of the initial promises of progress? Two farmers who live and work under the power plants and a sub-environmentalist with a contradictory profile, try to demonstrate the economic and health damage suffered by the industries. Yet, the Central press officer tells a diametrically opposite reality. Thus, while the city attends cultural and sporting events financed by industries, truth and justice seem to remain suspended and indecipherable, as in a Kafkaesque trial.
