Quello Che Cerchi

Impero is a minor private investigator, suffering from melancholy, tired of constantly observing the lives of others. One day, he is hired by Rosa, the partner of Francesco—a friend from twenty years prior who has since transitioned—to follow and protect her son, Davide. As an adolescent, Davide and his friends carry out acts of provocation against the symbols of arrogant, globalized capitalism. One night, during an attack on a biotechnology laboratory, Davide injures a guard, and Impero abandons his role as a passive observer to help the boy escape. Davide does not want to be protected, and it is only through Rosa that he lets go of his distrust. During the journey from Turin to Naples, the flight from the police transforms into the pursuit of an elusive woman, sought by both men for different reasons. A man grown numb who has not fathered children and a boy—an irregular, morally upright youth, but without a father—seek and find a new emotional security in each other.
