In the quiet setting of a Roman neighborhood, lives Lorenzo, a 45-year-old man, suffering from severe obesity, living secluded in a studio apartment bordering the apartment of the unattractive and "spinster", Agnese. The woman is secretly in love with Lorenzo and continually spies on his steps, eavesdropping through the wall that separates their homes. What he feels are the amorous forays that Lorenzo, despite appearances, indulges in without respite; this libertine life leads Agnese to turn, worried, to the man's brother, Don Antonio, a wise and ironic priest. Will Agnese and Lorenzo learn to love themselves and chase their dreams? Under the veneer of comedy, the short film tackles important themes with delicacy and depth, giving the viewer a message of hope and overcoming one's limits.
