The Dream Coach is a creative documentary that tells a human story that goes beyond the confines of sport. A discussion on football that was, on football today and on what this beautiful sport could be. The protagonist is Sergio Vatta, who coached Torino Primavera in the 80s and 90s, giving over 60 boys their debut in Serie A and dominating the category competitions at an international level. A coach who not only taught the kids the game of football but above all helped them and followed them in life as if they were his own children, he who had lost his father at a very young age, and who tried to train not only footballers but free men: "You have to fight to realize your dreams, not those of your parents or your agents."
