CONTROMANO

In a Turin overwhelmed by important transformations, once an industrial city and today in search of a new identity, two small cycle workshops have been opened by people who, through the bicycle, experience the concrete possibility of reinventing themselves, as partly happens in their city. People who, despite coming from very different stories and worlds, are witnesses of a personal and professional redemption that still proves possible today. Their stories are accompanied, out of the way and almost hidden, by the presence of a new category of invisible people: the "gatherers", people who travel every day on their bikes and move among the rubbish bins in search of some "precious piece" that they can resell or reuse.
